Guys I heard it takes 1 week of jogging to burn just 1 one of their cakes! Very fattening.

But I love it too <img src="http://www.omanforum.com/threads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

So has it opened?

No not yet. I wonder why it takes new food outlets so long to open these days? Santinos in Sarooj took over a year. Apparently Ministry problems.

If these guys want Oman to be a serious tourist hotspot they'd better start licensing these faster.

I have a question. You guys say that Oman has a serious unemployment problem, like around 15%. Who are the people who would work at a fast food outlet like Cinnabun? Omani teenagers, or foreigners?

In the USA, if you're unemployed, you can't that kind of job because it would look really bad on your resume (desparate).

I really want to know, to understand the economy of your country.

Thanks.

To answer you rankly tasbiha..........anyone would work there.
I know a college graduate who works for pizza hut here in Oman. He could not find a job so he works there.
About 10 years ago no Omani would work in a fast food restaurant as it would be demeaning for them. But nowadays with the lack of jobs...any job will do....as long as there is food on the plate in the evening.

The franchise is owned by the same guy who opened the Saudi Arabian chicken place a couple years ago, Tazaj Al Fakeeh. I think the company is called Bin Zayed.

Special,

Its not much more expensive than Dubai, next time when you are in Dubai, buy the same items and compare the prices, you will see that there is not much of a difference in the price.

Special
18th January 2006, 04:32 AM
I was in Dubai a couple of weeks back and got 9 minibons for less than 40 Dirhams i believe.
