They have been organising this one for months now.
The march in the capital(LONDON) has been organised by Stop the War Coalition, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and the Muslim Association of Britain.
and the organisers say there will be no less than 500,000.
there is a mixture of ppl there. pensioners to children.
what is intrstn that ppl who admit they were never intrstd in protests thought they should go out and say
Not in my name Blair and what they mean to say is:
No MORAL grounds for your war.
The other major protest is held in (SCOTLAND) Glasgow where Tony Blair is giving a speech to defend his policy on Iraq at a labour conference.
ppl came from 250 cities from around the UK to gather for the march in LONDON.
some organisers say it could be 1 million and more but police say thats being optimistic.
Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy is expected to tell marchers Mr Blair's "inconsistent and contradictory" arguments for the use of military force have left voters "suspicious and scared".
Smthn intrstn Kennedy said was that his party is not anti-Warbut they want the Commons to be given the right to vote on any planned action
I agree with that.
I think If this is a democracy then the government should take the ppl with it.
Should Respect its ppl the ppl who elected the government and their representatives.
Back to the march
