Alfair Shawarma's!!!!!

I had a shawarma from alfair yesterday and all day today i've been vomiting and having really bad stomach pains!!!
I advise ministry of health to check this out...i feel awful now <img src="/threads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

You should have called Muscat Municipality hotline (150) and reported about it, am sure that they will take care of it.

I have Al-fair Shawarma nearly twice a week... It's one of the best close to work. I think you may have caught the bug from some where else Morbid.

Yes chitchi, i have called them once regarding the new road which connects Sha6i al qurum with al qurum..the road didnt have any speed limit sign, so the guy who picked the phone told me that he will report this matter to the (Technical affairs) in the Municipality, an few days later this sign of speed limit was fixed next of the Ministry of Forgien Affairs.

I didn't even know Al Fair sold shawermas. Which Al Fair is that?

The Municipality Hotline on 150 is very efficient. If you call them with any complaints they immediately notify the proper department within the Municipality and if it's health/hygiene related they always send a health inspector to the scene.

I wish more people would call in with their complains when it comes to food hygiene matters.

It's Al-fair now...same owners I believe. They bought all the Al-fair stores, kept the Spinneys logo and the name is Al-Fair.

Matrah Cold Stores bought Al Fair and then converted all their shops to the Al Fair brand, including the Spinny's in Sarooj. This was definitely over a year ago. Probably sometime in 2001. There was a topic about it in the forum.

Last year they were in the final stages of buying Sultan Shopping's CBD and Seeb branches when the court foreclosed on Sultan Shopping's assets and the deal fell apart.
