In the recent days some of us have received some SMS messages encouraging them to boycott US and UK product. Fair enough. I encourage it personally.

However, a message telling people to boycott BP Oman attracted my attention.

Until late last year, British Petroleum owned 49% of BP Oman. However, by December 2002, a 100% Omani company called Oman Oil Company (owned by the government of Oman) purchased the 49% from BP Oman.

Therefore, BP Oman is a 100% Omani owned company with no catches. The Logos are to be changed in the coming months and the management is totally controlled by the 100% Omani Shareholders.

Let us be a little bit more careful in our keen and sincere attempts to support our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Iraq. Let us not hurt our own families in doing so.

Are you stupid or just uninformed?

By making it 100% Omani Gov't, how does that support Iraq any more than the British support for Iraqi people and ridding them of the Saddam reigime?

How can you live with yourself when you boycott companies nationally tied with a country which is going out of it's way to liberate people from Saddam's 15 years of rubbish and free the Islamic people?

Saddam himself is an Athiest, and the call to Mosque sounded today for the first time in 15 years thanks to the British and Americans.

Stop watching the completely biased Al-Jazeera.

No - an Athiest - one who believes there is no god.

I know what an athiest is. I was wondering about the following:
