. . . am just dedicating this topic as a simple <font size='+2'>Thank You[/color] note to all staff of the Sultan Armed Forces (SAF), Royal Army of Oman (RAO), Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO),) Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), Royal Oman Police (ROP). Many might discredit the humongous budget of defense, though hope they realize by now the vital importance of our defense infrastructure. No one but them military brought life back to Muscat and the other affected cities. For them all I wave a huge salute.

I've never been this proud of being Omani... I hope never again in my lifetime do I have to witness or watch or read devastating news about my country and how our people brought it back to life. Nevertheless, I hope it's a lesson, an experience that will never be forgotten.

Ever so proud of being an Omani. Thanks to all for keeping my people safe, for rescueing those in danger and for your continued efforts.

To be honest, despite of me being Omani, I haven’t felt how much I love Oman and proud to be Omani like this before….

Long Live Oman

Despite being non-Omani, I fully share your sentiments and raise a salute to all the personnel who worked tirelessly through this disaster. In South Mawaleh, the road from the Mawaleh bridge to Shell petrol bunk was completely gone. I don't which wing of the armed forces, but military personnel just made it motorable within a day of the cyclone. Thanks again.
