Hi, was just wondering how much is it roughly to rent a car per week in Muscat? would just want it the first 2 weeks of every month. Would it be possible to rent it for 2 weeks or would i have to rent it for the whole month?

You would be able to rent a car on daily basisi or weekly basis or monthly too. By renting on monthly/weekly basis you would get a better price advantage . Car rentals range from RO 12 to RO 50 per day depending on the the car you select.

Actually small cars costs RO 8 - 10 per day. For nissan sunny or toyota yaris renting per month will cost in the range of RO160-180

BTW how much does it cost if you buy a yaris car.. here is my question which is cheaper buying a car, paying it monthly or renting a car per month. this is the same model car

Definitely buying it. Renting is a waste of money. Better to lease it so at the end of the day, the car is your own asset.

i think if you are an expat and will not take long here in oman which is advisable if this is your status? buying car with monthly paying or renting a car with monthly basis.
