I've heard Oman has much natural beauty. But is this mostly out in the wadis, desert, or places out of the city? Is the city itself beautiful? Are there nice things like trees, hills, etc. in the city?
My wife really likes trees and green but can see much in the city?

I'm thinking of whether to accept teaching posts in Doha or Muscat.
I'm coming with a newborn baby (literally born a month before coming) so I'm tied down and won't have much time to travel to the country or for excursions. Also, my 8-year-old salon car may not survive many excursions.

But I've heard Doha is just a flat brown pancake is little scenic beauty except nice beaches.

Bottom line: Which would you choose in my situation?

Hello There

This is Qais
If I were you I will choose Muscat. Why?

1. Oman is a safe place in the gulf nowadays.
2. Oman has different enviroments.
3. the people are freindly and lovelly.
4. You can get the seas, beachs, deserts, mountains, wadis, and many different places to visit.

It depends on you if you wanna Muscat or Doha.
