freight forwarders in Oman

Folks,
I have not seen a thread which discuss about shipping & logistics activities in Oman. So I decided to get your views & experience in this area. This is a part of new assignment & I will sincerely appreciate your honest views / comments

I have listed down some of the front runners who handles logistical activities ( Cargo Import / Export / haulage / packing & removals etc for most of the Companies in Oman

If I ask you to rank the top 5 forwarders in Oman, how wouuld you rank them ? In terms of the revenue they generate ? or based on their popularity ? or any other reason ?

I cant rank them as we dont use all of them at the same time to know who does better than the rest. But Inchcape is what we use the most and they are reliable. Gulf Agency is also good, used it once or so, no problems there. But for the rest, no idea.

I would recommend Khimji Ramdas though I haven't tried any other agent and can't really compare. I had a good experience with them and got real good service from their staff, Omani and expat, who are well trained and know their stuff.

Gulf Agency and Ceva Logistics are both very good.

Used Ceva a couple months ago and they were efficient, polite, and best of all nothing damaged. Ten people turned up and had all my belongings packed up and moved to my villa within a day.

I've used this forwarder called Meridian Shipping Co LLC and found them very reliable and cost effective. Maybe the reason for that is that no only are they just forwarders, they also represent several shipping lines in Oman.

I do my Cargo clearing with Badar shipping , i am very happy with their service ... one Mr. Ajay is there he takes care of my things....

Hi,,

The No.1 shipping line in Oman is Maersk Line and forwarder Al kahlul international shipping, no doubt,,we have very good experience with them, last 9 years.

We worked with Gulf Agency,DHL ,Khimji Ramdas,Badar Shipping & Inchcape also but the services provided was very poor......
