Oman Mobile Internet!!

Hey Guys.
I activated Oman Mobile 1R/Day internet today. Idea was to monitor child at home via baby cams.
ANYWAYS, it has been a frustrating exercise, to say the least. I can browse OK. BUT when accessing the video stream there is no response.....ARGGHHH!!! I am using access point "Oman Mobile Internet" got the settings from help line folks.
Also When I use Nokia PC Suite, and connect to the internet it displays message after saying "Verifying User name and password" that "Failed to establish a network connection".
Help line is helpful in only sending me the configuration repeatedly no surprise here. Anyways whats the story here.

Why cannot I see video feed on Oman Mobile Internet, You tube is also not working. When connecting the phone via Home Wifi everything works, so its not the phone.
I will get a new nawras sim and try it too. Few months back I used the Nawras net via Mobile phone to PC suite without a hitch.
Anyways any ideas.

You probably already have this but just in case...

Make sure you select the correct access point:

Access Point	static
Access Point (APN)	taif
User Name	taif
Password	taif
Access Number	*99# or *99***1#

If you use the WAP access point then you can only access regular web pages and unencrypted mail.

Double check in the Nokia suite that the modem is set to your phone and that you chose the Oman Mobile network from the list. Nokia suite is a pain. Sometimes if you move the usb to another port, it won't connect. Also make sure it is in the original usb port you used when you set up the suite.

I use this Oman Moblie 1R/day and do not have problems to watch live videos or youtube. Of course, it is not that fast, but works for me.
