Secondary school teachers pay

I have a job offer in Muscat.

My wife is a secondary science teacher and she wants to come with me.

However,to determine if it is worthwhile, we need to find out what the pay scales are teachers.

Any help would be appreciated.

All she has to do then is try and get a job

Teaching has been almost entirety Omanized...meaning that the teachers that are appointed are almost Omanis. So there is no govt teaching jobs left at the level you are asking for. IF you are from India or Pak or Bangladesh or Srilanka, you can try the local schools of that particular country. Salaries paid are horrendously low for these schools, around 150+ or so. BUT getting a job even there would be difficult.

The American International School of Muscat
British School of Muscat

Too late for this year but there are occasional vacancies due to dodgy schools freaking out new teachers.
