Suggest you read your own contract very carefully before resigning. Look at cost of repatriation, gratuities etc.
Suggest you make sure you already have your passport in your possession.
Suggest you understand the difference between the Labour Law and "common practice."
Suggest you contact your embassy to tell them of your intention and listen to any advice they may have.

if you do not complete at least 1 year of work for an employer, they will more than probably charge you the costs, pro-rata over 12 months, that they incurred to bring you to work here. So if you were flown here from abroad, and your visa was paid for by them, they will want to recover these costs from you.
